Fallout New Vegas on school computer.

Hello, i recently found my Fallout New Vegas cd and wanted to play it on my school computer, so i installed it on my primary pc and moved all the files over to my school pc. And the problems is with installing, it do not have a cd-rom, and i need admin acess to install it.
Other games like Limbo, Guild Wars 2, WoW and Farming Simulator i did not need to install after i moved them over.

Any solution to this?

I'm trying to run KH2 but the frame rate is low can you please give me settings to run this faster

StarCraft II Will Not Install Please Help!

I have had countless issues with this game over the last week or so. I will start from the beginning. I got this game about a month ago and I was able to install it and play it no problem even the latest update. But one day I try to log in and starcraft says unable to connect to battle.net.

I tried lots of things to try to get it to work but no luck so I decided I had to reinstall. It Uninstalled quite quickly and I got the client installer from the website and then this happened https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-S4...it?usp=sharing I made a windows problem reporting file showing what happens. I have tried updating my graphics card driver (my graphics card is NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti) windows update, disk check, virus scan (using Microsoft Security Essentials), Safe Mode, running as administrator and redownloading the installer but nothing works. I would be really grateful if someone could help, I was really enjoying this game.

Black and White 2(I know old school)

Okay so about 3 days ago I tried to install an old game that I have been meaning to start playing again. Everything was going well I put in disk after disc correctly until I got tot he last one at 99% it gave me an error.

this is what is says:

Black and White 2 has failed to install.
Your system has not been modified. (I got window 7 64bit)
Please re-run the installer to try again.

Error: The file-name, the directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I tried doing administrator, and also running it on windows 2000, xp pack 2 and 3. I don't know what else I can do.

Cannot install softwares which require unpacking large files

Hi guys, I have just recently upgrade my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7, but since then I haven't been able to install most games.

During installation, each game has a different error message but generally, the problem seems to lie in games that require unpacking large files, such as *.bin. For example, while trying to install Assassin's Creed 3, this message appeared:

An error occurred while unpacking: archive corrupted! Unarc.dll returned an error code: -7. ERROR: archive data corrupted(decompression failed)
or

Quote:
Decompression failed with error code: -12. Bad CRC in the archive data0.bin
My system spec is in the drop-down list, under my user name.
Please help me, I'm going mad :banghead:

Games that I have tried to installed:

  • Assassin's Creed 3 (downloaded from Amazon Japan)
  • Mass Effect 3 (Physical copy)
  • Dragon Age 2 (Physical copy)
  • Ragnarok 2 (client downloaded from official site)
What I've tried so far:

  • Updated drivers of graphic card, mainboard, etc.
  • Ran as Administrator.
  • Installed in safe mode.
  • Tried installing these games in another computer (everything's fine)
  • Reinstalled Windows 7.
  • Formatted entire HDD, reinstalled Windows XP (now even Windows XP has this problem)
  • Bought a new HDD

When setting up Punkbuster, i get the error:

"HTM MD5s do not match security information. Please try updating later"

Followed by:

Punkbuster issues

My Punkbuster gave me the error: "PunkBuster kicked player 'xxxxx' (for 0 minutes) ... No Packet Flow."
I tried doing the setup through evenbalance and got the error: "HTM MDTs do not match security information. Please try updating later" After hitting OK, it shows me this:

I made sure that the firewall wasnt blocking it, gave the setup full permissions. I have downloaded and reinstalled Battlefield 3 several times- restarting my computer in between. I also tried getting rid of all punkbuster data and doing it manually that way. I continue to get the same result. If you suggest I go to evenbalance and do it manually- I've tried and it didn't work. Not sure how to fix this

Skyrim No Sound

I downloaded skyrim on my PC using Steam. Transfered the files to a flash drive. Then put it into my Mac. Found a wrapper and installed skyrim using steam but on my mac this time. Then started skyrim but before the main menu, a window popped up saying; Title: Microsoft XAudio 2, Text: CPU does not meet minimum requirement; Streaming SIMD Extensions support required., and there is a button saying "OK". I pressed ok and it brought me to the main menu. I clicked new game and there was no sound. I restarted skyrim but then another window popped up saying: Performing first time setup. Installing DirectX for windows. (step 1 of 1). I Have a Macbook Pro. Please help.

Hey guys
im trying to install bioshock infinite but i seem to get an error everytime i try to install it.
it says
(title bar):ISDone.dll
An error occured while unpacking Does not match checksum!
Unarc.dll returned an error code-12 failed crc check..
what seems to be the problem?
and my hitman absolution seems to have a problem too, jujst last week i can play it perfectly well but now it seems to have an error just before opening(app crash) i really want to play these two games now guys.. anyone would please help?

Hi all,

I am posting with an issue that has frustrated me for the last 4 hours. FSX Gold will not install properly. I inserted disc 1 and 2 they did there thing, then it checks computer memory and after that all windows close, I get no accept terms window or product key window. What should I do???

i have been searching for this folder but cant seem to find it anywhere

Need help with 1995 Fable installation

When I attempt to install '95 fable CD into my laptop with Windows 7. It states - The Program or feature "\??\D:\Register.exe can not start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of windows.

I followed some online help including DOSbox without success. I'm not able to copy files for DOS recommended by one site.

Red Alert 2

I tried installing Red Alert 2, but found that the opening scenes were black while the sound still played out. I shut down the process and tried to look into the specs of the game. When I tried to run the game again, all it did was show me a start up picture of Red Alert 2 and then didn't do anything after that.

Can someone help me with this?

Not enough free disk space - Crysis 1

Hey guys,
I've been trying to install Crysis Warhead on my brand new PC build that has a 3x1TB RAID 0 hard drive array (formatted in GPT so my C drive shows all available space) and I keep getting a "Not enough free disk space" error :frown:. Is it because I'm formatted in GPT? Any ideas?

Hello Team

Recently i have purchased Age of empires 3 pack which has 5 CDs
The first 3 are installation CDs and 4th and 5th one is War Chiefs and Asian dyansities CD.

Previously i had installed Warchiefs game, i have uninstalled it as per the instructions available on the forums. Now there is not a single AOE3 file in the registry too. But each time i put Disc 1 it shows "Play" & "Uninstall". Since this is the 1st CD selecting "Play" is of no good, so i opted to select "Uninstall". For a while the "Installshield" shows up and then it goes off within 10-15 secs and nothing done.

I have gone further and checked Revvo, CCLeaner, FixIT, but no good luck.

I am using Windows 7 , Home Basic, Version 64-Bit.

I have also tried to change the compatiblity mode and tried re-installing again, but when the bad time comes... things never go the right way.

Please Please team badly need your help now, i just want to install this game. Looking forward for a helping hand from you.
